Diagnostic Tests

CAPABILITIES:

Our convenient, comfortable, state-of-the art imaging center offers the same level of full diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound testing found in the large hospital setting. The difference is the personalized care you or your patients will receive, from the scheduling process to the easy registration and billing to the expert compassionate care in a quiet, non-intimidating setting.

We perform the following tests in our Kenwood imaging center:

Vascular Ultrasound: Venous and Arterial Duplex Imaging, Carotid Artery Duplex Imaging, Visceral and Renal Duplex Imaging, and Screening for Peripheral Artery Disease or Cardiac Risk

Echocardiography: Transthoracic Imaging with 2D, color flow, spectral Doppler evaluation of cardiac function including great vessel, valvular and ventricular assessment of systolic and diastolic function. Also, we perform screening echocardiograms for EF% or for Student Athlete Heart Risk.

QUALITY:

Our technologists are credentialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), and our testing facility is accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL) and Echo Laboratories (ICAEL).

Our imaging equipment is high-end digital / DICOM capable, and we record all our exams to a digital reading and archival system. This results in permanent storage in the original fidelity of the exams as they are seen during the study, in contrast with older videotape or print technology.
